Job Description

Sr Network Engineer

Location: Tulsa, OK – Hybrid

Description
  • 5-10 Years of solid experience
  • CCNP OR CCNA – Nice to have but not required.
  • This position is more Engineering and less operations. They design solutions to meet the business needs.
  • On-Call Rotation – Every 8 days, 24 hr. shift. For example: Monday one week, Tuesday the next and so on. 50% of the time will get a call.

TOP 3  DAY TO DAY REQUIREMENTS
  • They are currently in a conversion project/Roll-out from SP to Cisco SD WAN. It is a 400-site project. They have a guy leading this project and this contractor will work on this. They have currently rolled out 10%
  • Data Center Networking. Would like to see experience with Cisco Nexus, and Cisco ACI is a plus. When acquisition happened, Magellan had 3 Data Center Sites and these sites will stay intact and this contractor will assist in maintaining Data Center Sites.
  • Commercial Projects – This contractor will help with commercial projects that come up. There is a current project in play now. Will need Basic Cisco Routing and Switches. Building a new pipeline that is 60 miles long. There will be 6 new points on the pipeline for viewing. They will be deploying routers to those sites to make this happen.
