Job Description

Sr Integration Analyst

Location: Houston, TX

Required

  • Background in API Management

  • Strong knowledge of Azure API Management

  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience applying modern design patterns.

  • 3+ years of experience major cloud providers either AWS or Azure.

  • Basic knowledge of Event Driven and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.

  • Experience Developing, testing, and implementing integrations using the GitHub/Azure DevOps Platform.

  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs and security mechanisms around the REST API.


Preferred

  • Expert in Azure API Management

  • Strong knowledge of Azure Service Bus.

  • Experienced with preparing detailed level documentation of technical deliverables

  • Deep understanding of overall development process and software delivery lifecycle (Agile)

  • Highly effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate multiple complex systems and priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to acquire business domain knowledge quickly and effectively to take the role of subject matter expert for multiple applications


Responsibilities

  • Solutioning complex use cases by providing scalable, reusable integration patterns for API Management

  • Own and review design elements and sign off on the overall technical design where API Management is involved.

  • Coordinate with Enterprise Information Security, Cloud Advancement COE, Network, and Data Analytics Teams to adopt the best practices in APIM.

  • Ensure proper testing is implemented and make sure the performance and security requirements are met and closely monitored by working with the project teams.

  • Experience providing level of effort estimates for technical solutions/requirements

  • Technology design experience including Performance, Security, Availability, as well as Operations, Monitoring and Support

  • Document current challenges, constraints, and future expectations.
