Description
The Sr. Analytics Developer will be responsible for delivering analytics and related automation solutions for the Finance and CP&D Capabilities. Position will work closely with users, stakeholders, other developers, data architects, engineers, and other peers in related disciplines to build and support global solutions aligning to company goals and priorities.
If you are selected as the Sr. Analytics Developer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle analytics development activities that could include initial analysis and exploration, integration, warehousing, modeling, architecture, report and dashboard development, etc. It will also require some iOCR and RPA development.
Your responsibilities may include:
Collect, analyze, and translate user requirements into effective solutions
Perform additional requirements gathering sessions to validate users’ requirements for data analytics and/or automation/iOCR workflows
Help develop and maintain logical and/or physical data models to support organization initiatives
Coach and mentor other developers and business users on best practices for analytics, iOCR or automation tools and solutions.
Provide status on the issues and progress of key business projects
Providing regular reporting on the performance of data analytics solutions
Support the progression of Finance and CP&D’s analytics program through delivering on key strategic initiatives and related efforts
Assist with ensuring data privacy and security
Qualifications
Basic/Required:
7+ years experience in analytics or business intelligence development
5+ years experience with SQL
2+ years ETL / Integration development experience
2+ years of data modeling experience
Intermediate experience with iOCR tools like ABBYY Flexicapture
Intermediate experience automating processes using RPA tools like UiPath or Power Automate
Preferred:
Legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Admin/Mgmt, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, other related business field, other related technical field, or foreign equivalent
3+ years experience with data virtualization
3+ years of experience with Python and R scripts
3+ years experience with Power BI or Tibco Spotfire
3+ years experience with Informatica Power Center or Informatica Cloud
3+ years of experience with AWS or Azure cloud-based data services and storage
1+ years of Oil and Gas industry experience
Ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects
Highly self-directed
Efficient verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence and motivate others
Able to build and maintain key business relationships
Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
