Sr. Developer Analyst - Hybrid Position

Location: Tulsa, OKC or Austin, TX

Description

This position will be eligible for remote work with some travel or office meetings as needed. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, specifically Oracle Cloud Financials, PowerpLan Application, SplashBI, and/or Oracle Workflow/AME.

What You Will Do

  • Lead most aspects of software enhancement for packaged applications, including configuration, testing, deployment and maintenance activities.

  • Lead software enhancement projects including directing the work assignments and priorities of others

  • Collaborate with important process owners on documentation of application defects, enhancements and/or projects.

  • Lead configuration, testing, deployment and maintenance of software solutions as prioritized by the business including creating/updating system documentation and training materials around an existing application suite.

  • Lead gathering and documenting of business requirements to determine capabilities to be delivered.

  • Consult with users on priorities, complexities and other impacts of the requirements.

  • Provide time and cost estimates for proposed changes resulting from the requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to deploy existing solutions in other business areas.

  • Coordinate and communicate development activities with other team members, infrastructure personnel, vendors and management.

  • Follow defined change control and compliance procedures associated with software development, including all required documentation and governance standards.

  • Work with business users by consulting and training to ensure effective use of technology solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members.

  • Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

What You Will Need

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in MIS, computer science, mathematics, GIS, or an equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience.

  • Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in Oracle ERP techno-functional role.

  • Oracle on-Prem R12.2 experience in at least 4 to 5 of these modules: AP, AR, GL, PA, CM, PO, and EBTax

  • Demonstrated ability of application design and development utilizing Shell scripting, Batch scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher, java script, and PowerBuilder 

  • Experience with database management systems and configuring applicable systems software, development, testing, supporting, resolving medium to complex system issues

  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Financials, Powerplan Application, SplashBI, and/or Oracle Workflow/AME personalization and customization will be a plus

  • Experience with multiple development languages and/or platforms.

  • Experience in software development and programming concepts/techniques.

  • Experience working with database management systems.

  • Experience with most aspects of the software development lifecycle methodology and basic project management concepts.

  • Experience with basic infrastructure technologies and the ability to understand/communicate impacts resulting from development activities.

  • Experience directing and training other project members.

  • Experience interacting, advising and communicating effectively.

  • Experience developing information, conducting meetings and making presentations.

  • Read and write fluently in English

  • Able to use office tools and equipment required.

  • Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions; conduct oral presentations and/or meetings.

  • Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.
