Sr Accounting Analyst

Location: Tulsa, OK Area

Description

The position will be responsible for valuing the purchases and distributing payments to working and royalty interest owners. The analyst will work within the Finance organization.

Required responsibilities and attributes include:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of lease crude purchases and deliveries using strong analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to thrive in self-directed position.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data entry and processing, demonstrating proficiency in multi-tasking and prioritization.

  • Analyze and verify incoming data to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, using a critical and detail-oriented approach.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Provide regular reports and updates on lease crude purchase data to management, demonstrating a strong ability to synthesize complex information.

  • Complete monthly revenue processing and value distribution for lease volumes and values.

  • Monitor and reconcile payment processing related to lease crude purchases, including processing revenue, utilizing advanced problem-solving skills.

  • Identify and resolve data processing errors and discrepancies in a timely manner, using a methodical and analytical approach.

  • Ensure that all data privacy and security policies are followed and upheld, displaying a commitment to ethical practices.

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve data processing efficiency and accuracy, exhibiting a desire to continuously learn and grow.

  • Compute, verify and process division order transfers of interest to ensure timely royalty payments.

  • Troubleshoot issues with operators, including royalty inquiries, discrepancies with interest payments, and support the research of ticket discrepancies.

  • Create and maintain master data for production, revenue, and regulatory to support the Revenue distribution functions.
