Sr Accounting Analyst

Location: Tulsa, OK or Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

Review and understand the detailed A/P process performed by outsource provider
Identify A/P system and process issues and troubleshoot resolutions
Gain an understanding and document the costing and receipt accounting transactions
Run close processes and close costing periods
Perform account roll-forwards and accounting for sales and disposals of certain inventory
Complete special projects and ad hoc requests
Understand and support preparation of inventory account reconciliations
Support accounting information requirements for management and staff
Insure inactive cost centers are properly maintained
Establishes and maintains relationships with individuals and/or other departments as needed to resolve accounting issues and questions
Communicates with internal and external customers
