Senior Application Programmer/Business Analyst

Location: Houston, TX

Description:

This position requires an individual that has an operational knowledge of oil & gas applications to work with the business to help them improve their processes and systems. Requires P2 Merrick experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design solutions using modules to meet business needs

• Conduct requirements gathering with business users

• Configure solutions in the Merrick systems, perform unit testing, integration testing

• Perform design, coding, debugging, testing and implementation tasks for the computer programs and systems

• Develop and implement program documentation

• Critical problem-solving skills, capable to troubleshoot and provide quality problems resolution

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Work closely with the production team

• Be able to cope with multi-tasking assignment excellent analytical and communication skills

• Working experience in the oil & gas industry

• Team Player, responsive, organized

• Advanced Programming knowledge and skills

• Experience assisting other programmers

• Good planning and organizational skills

• Provide customer support

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
