SAP Basis Administrator

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description

The ERP Basis Team provides system administration support and services for several on-prem SAP systems and is currently participating in an enterprise corporate project to implement new SAP S/4 HANA and SAP cloud solutions.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Extensive hands-on basis experience in installation, configuration, landscape design, transport setups (ABAP/JAVA)

  • At least 2 full life cycle BASIS implementations/upgrades covering at least 3 or more SAP Products as described: PO, ECC, HANA, BW, SRM, Portal, GTS, GRC, NWDI and Solution Manager

  • Work with various infrastructure teams and security as needed for design and maintenance of ERP system architecture

  • Will assist with the implementation of the new SAP S/4 HANA and SAP cloud solutions as part of the nxtgenERP Project.

  • Must ensure full compliance / control adherence of the environment. Must be security aware

  • Good knowledge of SAP change and release management

  • Knowledge of Solution Manager to perform monitoring of SAP systems, Root Cause Analysis, Early watch reports and achieve optimal performance

  • Work with various teams including technical and/or functional team to troubleshoot specific application errors, problems, and performance issues

  • Use of SAP OSS system to look for solutions to problems and escalate to SAP when required

  • Perform system copies of production systems to test systems

  • Identify and implement system parameter or configuration changes as needed

  • On call support to provide 24x7x365 response to critical system issues

  • Ready to work weekends. Needs to have "do whatever it takes" mindset to resolve issues


Basic/Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Science, or other related field

  • 5+ years of IT experience

  • 5+ years of SAP Basis experience in a global environment (ABAP/Java Stack Basis knowledge)

  • 1+ years of S/4 HANA Basis Experience


Preferred:

  • Preferred skills pertaining to implementation and operational support of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP cloud solutions

  • HANA Database and security knowledge

  • Fiori knowledge (Fiori App installation, Launch Pad configuration, Spaces, Pages & custom Catalogs maintenance)

  • Experience supporting solutions on RISE with SAP

  • Experience with SAP Cloud solutions

  • BTP knowledge (Managing BTP tenants, activating services, subaccount and security management)

  • BTP devops process to migrate changes

  • Cloud Connector experience

  • Azure cloud certification

  • Experience in SAP ChaRM / Business Process Management (BPM)

  • Experience in SAP replication tools SDI and SAP DI

  • Mobile Technology Integration

  • RHEL Pacemaker experience

  • Scripting experience (Unix, Python)

  • Experience in SAML2, OAUTH and Kerberos authentication

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly recognize, isolate, and resolve technical problems

  • An integrated knowledge of other Information Technology disciplines.

  • Ability and skills to provide valued technical ideas and advice to other team members

  • Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, ability to provide after-hours support for global customers in differing time zones

  • Discipline in following operational standards and processes

  • Strong communication, presentation, influencing, documentation, and project management skills

  • Ability to multi-task effectively
