Records Clerk

Location: Tulsa, OK - Hybrid


Records management as part of record retention policy; records imaging and publishing via Perceptive Document Management; records management to aid Facilities Dept and local service areas being relocated to new building(s). Service inbound calls and after hours calls for records requests and ability to lift 30lb boxes.

  • Administer projects involved with records and information management program.

  • Assist with delivering training programs and train functional groups regarding compliance and the actions necessary to adhere to the records and information management program.

  • Ensure that all records data is entered and maintained per company policy.

  • Assist employees and contractors involved with activities and projects associated with records classification and retention under direction of senior records staff.

  • Assist with facilities planning by reviewing short and long-term resource and space requirements to identify and evaluate possible options.

  • Assist in centralized and decentralized file management operations to improve access and control.

  • Gather, compile and assist with coordinating inventory of records at field and remote offices across the enterprise    

Position Requirements   

  • Someone who had a role with utility operation records or geographic parcel, or parcel legal experience would be a good fit.

  • Past oil-well lease or other research experience would be beneficial.

  • Knowledge of records and information management programs; Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and other automation tools desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability interacting, advising, and communicating effectively (both written and verbal)

  • Occasional travel may be required

  • Support the central Records help desk by taking inbound calls during working hours and after hours as assigned (rotation).

  • Ability to learn GIS and Maximo.

  • Intermediate level (min) Excel skills.

  • Familiar experience with an enterprise content management (ECM) software suite.

  • Ability to work effectively in a small team
