Project Manager, Civil Engineer

Location: Tulsa, OK

Job Description and Responsibilities:

The Transportation Project Manager will be responsible for providing management, design, and technical support for our Tulsa Office in the development of construction plans for a variety of civil engineering infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will manage relationships for various State, municipal, tribal, and private infrastructure projects with an emphasis in transportation and/or site design.
  • Understand design concepts using appropriate methodology conducive to economic results and help monitor plan preparations such as detail sheet reviews and quantity calculations.
  • Coordinates work efforts and reviews of work performed by project team. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.
  • Presenting images and ideas in a clear, concise, organized, and interesting manner to optimize audience understanding and keep the group focused.
  • Manage the preparation of design plans, profiles, cross sections, and design details, perform calculations for roadway and bridge designs.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles, practices, and methods in job responsibilities
  • Planning, coordinating, and handling multiple projects within area of responsibility to meet short- and long-term deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma
  • 4+ years of design or relative experience and prior management experience on Road and Bridge Infrastructure projects is required.
  • Proficient in MicroStation, GeoPak InRoads/OpenRoads design software.
  • Experience managing all aspects of project planning, design, and delivery 
  • Strong knowledge of DOT and other local agencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff.
