The company is looking for a Scheduler III. The company is looking for an experienced P6 scheduler for pipeline/facilities FERC regulated projects. Capable of performing the following tasks:
The main function of a Project Controls Specialist is researching and evaluating aspects of potential and existing projects as they pertain to internal and external resource availability, resource allocation, competitors influence, concurrent projects, available manning and expertise, and schedule conflicts.

Description:
The company is looking for a Scheduler III. The company is looking for an experienced P6 scheduler for pipeline/facilities FERC regulated projects. Capable of performing the following tasks:
- Maintain and track progress in a schedule with a well-defined critical path.
- Perform schedule analysis of contractor submitted schedules and ensure they are in line with the master project schedule.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cost and risk analyst.
- Issue and Maintain Schedule Milestones (Ensure all Departments schedules are in line with master project schedule)
- Flag major schedule issues with recommendation for correction
- Communicate critical path items, risk and major schedule interfaces in the project meetings.
- Coordinate with project cost control for monthly project dashboard updates.
- Attend / participate project coordination and/or planning meetings (i.e. bid walks, kick-off meetings, model reviews, etc.)
- Assist in producing management presentations, lead the discussion on schedule.
- Create Basis of Schedule
- Integrate work breakdown structures and earned value management for progressing engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze potential and existing large to mega-projects in each region/franchise for conflicts pertaining to scheduling, personnel/manning needs, contractor availability, and equipment availability.
- Recommend course of action necessary to resolve aspects of projects noted to be problematic to successful project/program completion.
- Interface with project selection group and provide essential information ensuring in full understanding of project expectations and risks prior to sanctioning.
- Work with industry groups to research and determine availability of external resources that can or cannot support project execution.
- Develop repository of competing project data to aid in identifying potential conflicts for future projects in specific regions or franchises.
- Issue bi-monthly progress reports for each Operating Area noting aspects of concern and internal/external resources available
- Attend project and stakeholder meetings as needed.
Skills:
- Experience in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forecasting Process and Oracle
- Possess adequate communication skills
- Ability to learn and/or have knowledge of natural gas equipment
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction or Business, or equivalent
- 5-7 years experience in Project Analysis, Controls and Data Analytics required
