Program Manager – Work Advance

Location: Tulsa, OK

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

People Management

  • Lead and guide WorkAdvance program staff to prioritize and implement the tasks needed to meet program goals

  • Provide ongoing strategic counsel for program staff and empower their professional development

  • Facilitate weekly intake & recruitment team meetings, career advisor team meetings, and multiple individual 1:1 meetings

  • Manage Intake Specialists to meet recruitment goals for the WorkAdvance program

  • Manage WorkAdvance Career Advisors to ensure proper management of training training cohorts

  • Hire and train WorkAdvance staff as needed in collaboration with leadership

  • Serve as a member of the management leadership team and work collaboratively with other departments leads to achieve holistic organizational goals

Program Management

  • Oversee daily program operations, monitor performance and adjust service strategies to ensure achievement of program goals

  • Serve as the point of contact for external training partners in contracts, scheduling of training classes, and monitoring progress of training classes currently in session

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to drive recruitment, including attending community and outreach events

  • Attend training cohort open houses and assist in planning and preparation of events

  • Report to the Director of Programs and Executive Director on the programs progress toward goals on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Collaborate with the Outreach and Communications Manager on marketing and outreach needs for WorkAdvance recruitment

  • In partnership with the Director of Career Services, make relevant updates to the career advisor and provide coaching recommendations for customers

  • Collaborate with Business Services to ensure training graduates are prepared for employment

  • In coordination with leadership, develop and manage annual program budget

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree (MBA or MPA preferred), or equivalent experience

  • Minimum five years’ experience working in the non-profit/human services field with a background in program development and management, budgets and providing direct services to clients

  • Demonstrated success in leading teams using technology and data as a management tool to meet monthly, quarterly and annual program goals

  • Proven management experience working with diverse stakeholders up, down, and across organizations

  • Experience helping vulnerable populations overcome roadblocks by addressing their unique needs

  • Strong project management skills managing complex, multi-faceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth

  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for the company mission

  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce or other CRM database for data entry and reporting on program metrics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details

  • Schedule flexibility to work evening and weekends when needed

  • Must have personal transportation that can be used throughout the workday
