Product Owner - Remote Option Available

Location: Tulsa, OK or Remote in OK, GA or FL

Description
The Product Owner will be subject matter expert in our back-end processes written in C++ on Linux OS, execute full lifecycle software development to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement appropriate agile methodology

• Assess feature requests and provide feedback to customers

• Schedule releases and coordinate sprints

• Work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases

• Groom and prioritize backlog

• Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria

• Set sprint goals

• Acceptance test scheduling with QA

• Plan releases and upgrades

• Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints

• Assure compliance with Payment Card Industry policies, procedures, standards, and regulations

• Assist in training and orientation of other staff and users

• Remain current on technical and professional developments affecting area of responsibility

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field and five or more years of solid experience as Product Owner or similar role in product management

• Engineering background with expert experience in designing, writing, and maintaining high-performance headless processes in a Unix environment. Expert knowledge in modern C++ and design methodologies required

• Experience with agile methodology

• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle

• Team spirit and leadership skills

• Excellent customer service attitude, good communications skills (both verbal and written), good project management and organizational skills and the ability to cope with and manage a constantly changing environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills, self-starter
