Location: Tulsa, OK
Description
The Network Operations Engineer helps to oversee and provide operational reliability and delivery of Network services for all Corporate locations.
The Network Operations Network Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day support of end-user network connectivity needs to sustain digital enablement of the work force. These aspects include network administration, network communications (LAN/WAN), network tools support, wireless technologies, and associated applications.
Responsibilities May Include
Engage in incident response and work assignments to ensure SLA’s are met.
Help troubleshoot network issues.
Maintain the end-to-end availability and performance of mission critical services
Provide break-fix resolution for network connectivity issues
Configuration, installation, and administration of Cisco switches and routers
Support Ethernet cabling design, and maintenance of hard-wired network
Provide high quality customer support and maintenance for existing and future technology
Drive operational excellence for daily operations by successfully managing changes and successfully completing system upgrades
Manage assigned network projects across all Corporate locations
Position Requirements
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
3 or more years of experience with Ethernet connectivity
3 or more years of experience working in a large, global IT organization
3 or more years of experience supporting large, complex, business critical enterprise services
3 or more years of experience working with enterprise IT vendors
3 or more years working on large capital Network projects
Proven experience building trust within the team, seeking others’ perspectives, and working for the greater good, all with a focus towards driving positive business results
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification
Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
Willing to be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP) certification
Understanding or ability to learn the cultural and business differences between business units so that solutions and/or delivery approaches are tailored to meet the needs of each BU.
Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Ability to deliver results across a diverse set of competing priorities
5 or more years of experience delivering as part of a team the following service areas: routing and switching, LAN/WAN technologies, and wireless technologies
