IT Operations Support Analyst

Location: Tulsa, OK - Hybrid

Description

The IT Operations Support Analyst fills a critical role in the IT Operations team by leading direct contributor efforts  for desktop support and service requests.  The IT Operations Support Analyst will also contribute to IT Operations  projects as a secondary priority to support and service requests. In addition to the requirements below, successful  candidates will  demonstrate a  passion  for  high?quality  support,  strong engineering  principles, and methodical  problem?solving skills.   

Duties and Responsibilities

  • IT Operations and Desktop Support 

    • Respond to IT Operations and Desktop Support requests in a timely, efficient, and professional  manner 

    • Use remote support software or provide in?person support as appropriate for the situation 

    • Contribute to Desktop Management related projects 

    • Desktop Management hardware and software lifecycle administration 

    • Maintain desktop support related procedural, technical, and administrative documentation 

  • Conduct all efforts under Compliance and Payment Card Industry policies, procedures, standards, and regulations 

  • Assist in training and orientation of other staff as requested 

  • Maintain  Subject  Matter  Expert  status  on  technical  and professional  disciplines  relevant  to  areas  of responsibility. 

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience 

  • Excellent customer service attitude with great communications skills (both verbal and written) 

  • Disciplined project/task management, organizational skills, attention to detail and follow?through 

  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to thrive while working in a fast?paced environment 

  • Ability to think quickly and logically to resolve issues 

  • 2+ years of professional work experience (time in internships apply to this requirement) 

Desired experience with 

  • Desktop Support in Active Directory Environment, preferably with a mix of Windows 10 and macOS client hosts 

  • Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 productivity suite administration 

  • Using and maintaining procedural documentation 

  • Desktop support troubleshooting methods and tools 

  • Ethernet fundamentals, TCP/IP fundamentals, Remote Access VPN, and IP protocol suites  used in typical enterprise LAN environments 

  • IT Best Practice, IT operational control, and Information Security awareness 

Standout candidates will have experience with 

  • Desktop imaging solutions 

  • Scripting and automation
