Interactive Strategist

Location: Tulsa, OK - Hybrid

Summary/Objectives

The Interactive Strategist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the long-term digital marketing strategy for the our brand. Under the direction of the Marketing Director, this role is responsible for managing the website, SEO, and Google Ads strategies, serve as the primary technical contact for HubSpot, and will influence the direction of our comprehensive content and social strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Strategically develop new and innovative digital strategies to enhance and promote the company’s brand in the marketplace.

  • Implement strategies for improving the user experience to enhance lead conversion and lead nurturing effectiveness that are in sync with business and end-user goals, including but not limited to developing intuitive site navigation and structure, and organizing content.

  • Liaise with sales team to strategize and implement lead scoring systems.

  • Create a plan to maximize the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines, accomplished through a combination of on-page and off-page techniques, including link-building, social media strategy, viral marketing, metadata sculpting, site speed optimization, content strategy, information architecture.

  • Serve as the lead for user interface design improvements for marketing website(s) and existing platforms.

  • Liaise with our external web developer to make necessary improvements to our website. 

  • Work with internal and external subject-matter experts to enhance the company’s SEO footprint and Google Ad strategy.

  • Manage content entry tasks in WordPress CMS and other social channels.

  • Provide monthly web traffic report from Google Analytics. 

  • Set KPIs, analyze metrics and suggest solutions to implement improvement goals accordingly. 

  • Create dashboards to track relevant performance metrics of digital efforts. 

  • Audit and track performance of existing digital marketing properties and suggest solutions for improvement. 

  • Set clear expectations with internal and external clients and development teams.

  • Have fun and explore new ideas with an experienced, talented, and hardworking marketing team.


Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in areas of interactive design, user experience design, consulting, and information architecture.

  • Standard web languages and skill sets (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, HubSpot). 

  • A proven ability to connect marketing initiatives such as blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies with SEO and other digital initiatives.

  • Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs.

  • Ability to listen and appropriately respond to suggestions, corrections, and feedback.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creative drive, organized, and a self-starter.

  • Ability to understand psychology-related business environment and identify web opportunities to promote our company and products.

  • Possess the ability to be flexible to a changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience preferred.
