Freight Analyst

Location: Tulsa, OK Area

Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Front office experience with trading or scheduling within Oil and Gas

• Experience with SAP a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Payables experience

Responsibilities

• Audit individual freight charges, determine corrective actions, and approve payments

• Work with other members of the transportation team to develop root cause solutions to freight payments issues

• Work with BU contacts and other members of the transportation organization to bring established freight processes under control

• Work with internal/external business contracts to resolve discrepancies and drive standardized processes

• Identify and build processes needing attention, and participate in or lead continuous improvement activities for freight payment and supporting activities

• Participate in cross-functional teams to develop more effective solutions/processes for freight payment activity

• Manage duplicate payment claims process and develop corrective actions

• Educate freight processors and other members of Truck and Rail on freight payment processes and systems
