Job Description

Field Service Technician

Location: Tulsa, OK

Description: 

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in commissioning and service of our equipment located throughout the United States and the world. Your primary responsibilities will include commissioning and service of our heaters while maintaining inspection and startup reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heaters.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements and upgrades.
  • Document all service activities, including equipment maintenance and repairs, in detailed reports.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in after hours on-call rotations to address emergency service requests.
  • Travel to various project sites – the position requires approximately 75% travel and at times up to 90%.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair work.
  •  Knowledge of midstream gas processing heaters, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote and challenging environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members and customers.
  • Valid driver's license and the willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
