eTicket Enablement BA

Location: Houston, TX

Description

The purpose of this position is to provide Supply Chain support to the IT function. In this role, you will proactively support the enablement of electronic field ticketing (OpenInvoice) and integration points with electronic invoicing (Actian).

This role utilizes independent actions to drive effective and efficient performance of transactions between, Supply Chain Global Services and Technology and Suppliers. It is responsible for supporting effective execution of transactional processes to support BU operations.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Support the implementation and enablement of eTicketing by working with project team, IT project manager, BU Supply Chain counterparts, and Operations.

  • Support suppliers through go-live and warranty periods including researching data issues within SAP.

  • Ensure project tasks are on schedule and support each function of the project team by providing direction with vital Supply Chain knowledge

  • Drive continuous improvement of project and supplier processes where they relate to project accountabilities.

  • Efficiently communicate status of project, with being able to articulate necessary issues to move project faster.

  • Identify risks in project timeline, implement mitigation efforts, and communicate as needed to project partners.

  • Engage with Enverus (eTicketing platform) and Actian (eInvoice platform) to ensure smooth end-to-end process, troubleshoot where necessary, and understand flow of data.

  • Identify inefficiencies between various project parts and implement improvements for increased collaboration.


Qualifications

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or a related discipline or foreign equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry

  • 3+ years of transactional systems experience. Experience with OpenInvoice, Actian, and/or SAP are preferred.

  • Familiarity with master data supporting transactional procurement – Vendors, Materials, Services, Cost Objects, Pricing.

  • Proficient in MS Office


Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience related to the oil and gas industry.

  • Experience with the following additional applications is preferred – Teradata, SQL.

  • Experience supporting process design/adaption.

  • Expertise in the areas of supplier field ticketing and supplier invoicing in support of Transactional Procurement.

  • Able to see opportunities to improve processes, solicit feedback from others, and propose paths to address them.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Good decision-making skills

  • Effective at time management and setting priorities.

  • Internal and external networking, especially in aligning with others.

  • Sufficient understanding of enterprise software configuration to collaborate with IT to balance business process adaption and localization with system configuration and support requirements.
