Description

This job is responsible for collaborating with business users in identifying business requirements, and translating them into system requirements, and logical/functional design.

As IT Analyst IV, you will provide technical leadership to a team of analysts to deliver software solutions and maintain existing applications in order to optimize organizational functioning. A focus on mentoring others, the ability to solve sophisticated problems, superb interpersonal skills and technical acuity are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:

• • Analyzes and develops short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through developing new or modifying existing applications

• Reviews systems requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software applications

• Executes projects using project management concepts, requirements gathering and documentation, software development lifecycle and testing

• Collaborates effectively with business partners, project team, and senior management to develop solutions that facilitate the integration of business processes

• Recommends solutions based on an understanding of business requirements

• Provides technical leadership and mentorship within a broader team

• Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

• Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years' IT experience

• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and a minimum of eight (8) years' IT experience

Other Requirements:

• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

• Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

• Maximo Developer

Other Requirements:

• Experience in a technical background working in a developer role, preferably in Maximo

• Strong programming skills (in any major language: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.)

• Experience with web or mobile application development

• Experience designing, developing, testing, and delivering technical requirements in a production system

• Strong SQL skills

• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems

• Preferred: Experience with Maximo including use of the full suite of in-app development tools, use of Maximo Migration Manager to deploy changes, knowledge of the Maximo database and experience with integration tools and REST API; experience writing Jython Automation Scripts
