Consultant, Automation & Analytics
Location: Tulsa, OK or Houston, TX
Description
As the Automation and Analytics Consultant, you will provide data analytics expertise by interpreting and transforming SAP-PRA (Production Revenue Accounting) data to assist Financial Services in reporting, analysis, decision making, and predictive modeling.
Your responsibilities may include:
Develop SQL code to retrieve large amounts of data from various databases (Teradata, Oracle, and Azure)
Build data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and Spotfire
Analyze large amounts of SAP PRA data to generate effective solutions and make timely decisions
Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Collaborate with Finance and IT
Design and development of data integration solutions, data connections and interfaces
Troubleshoot support tickets for operational issues related to data analytics and reporting
Qualifications
Basic/Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Business Admin/Mgmt, Finance, Information Technology, Data Science, other related technical discipline, or foreign equivalent
5+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry
3+ years of experience working in SAP Production Revenue Accounting (PRA)
Advanced knowledge of SAP Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) terminology, data, and tables
Intermediate proficiency in Data Analytics Tools
Preferred:
Expert knowledge of SAP Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) terminology, data, and tables
Comfortable querying and manipulating data using SQL
Knowledge of visualization techniques, dashboard design, and decision support tools
Data-driven mindset and a proven history of continuous self-development
Analytical/technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving
Ability to deliver with high quality projects, on time and according to expectations
