Configuration Management Architect

Location: Houston, TX

Description

As the primary subject matter specialist and Architect for Microsoft Configuration Manager, this position handles our Software Distribution Infrastructure, monitors and troubleshoots patch and application deployment, provides reports from Configuration Manager to the organization, designs and implements automation to secure and monitor the environment, and handles the resolution of escalated support tickets to relevant vendors.

Qualifications

Basic/Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee

  • 3+ years of experience in the configuration and administration of Microsoft Configuration Manager

  • 3+ years of experience with identifying and resolving configuration manager client issues

  • 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server Administration and SQL Query and Scripting

  • Advanced proficiency in Windows PowerShell in the required Management Technologies

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory

  • Intermediate proficiency with OS Deployments and Task Sequences


Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Admin/Mgmt, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, other related business field, other related technical field, or foreign equivalent

  • Ability to collaborate with a Global IT Support organization

  • Expert proficiency with configuration and administration of Microsoft Intune (Cloud Attach and Co-Management)
