Civil Engineer (Design)

Location: Tulsa, OK

Tasks may include:

• Ability to work in a strong team environment is a must.

• Perform engineering tasks under the supervision of a Project Manager or supervisor.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Learn and adhere to concepts of the company’s standards and design practices.

• Utilize design and drafting software to create engineering documents.

• Attend site visits as needed through design and construction.

• Conduct construction site inspections at various development projects.

• Develop the ability to prepare a full set of construction documents for supervisor to review, with limited supervision.

• Attend client meetings for assigned projects and develop relationships with the clients and design team.

• Attend review meetings with client, consultants, contractors and/or city staff and become familiar with plan coordination processes.

• Prepare technical reports and specifications for projects.

• Research/review code and permitting requirements for projects as directed.

• Be a productive and cooperative member of the team.

Required Qualifications:

• For P.E.’s - Bachelor’s degree in civil or other related engineering field.

• EIT’s preferred with ability to obtain PE licensure in Oklahoma.

• 3-5 years’ experience minimum required for CADD/Design Technicians

• Attain proficiency in design and drafting software.

• Possess the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing internally and externally.

• Possess the ability to listen, understand and retain information and ideas presented verbally and in writing.

• Can enter, transcribe, record, store and maintain data accurately.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
