Every winter, the Philbrook Museum of Art hosts the Philbrook Festival. This is a six-week community celebration of the holiday season and the museum is completely transformed with festive decorations and holiday lights. The festival has something for everyone to enjoy including live music performances, delicious seasonal food, holiday shopping, kids train rides, and of course, photo opportunities with Santa. Since 2007, Winterfest has become a popular destination in Tulsa for families looking to get into the holiday spirit and enjoy everything that the completely transformed city has to offer during the season. During this time, the street is shut down to create a winter wonderland, giving families the opportunity to go ice skating outdoors, see Oklahoma’s tallest outdoor Christmas tree, and even go riding in a horse-drawn carriage. Tulsa Ballet Presents: The Nutcracker
