In this episode, we’ll be highlighting some fun Tulsa events taking place the weekend of July 12th through the 15th, 2018. Weather Report:
The weather for this weekend is pushing into the triple digits, so much sure to take proper precautions. Friday is looking to be partly cloudy, but a high of 97. Saturday’s high is hitting 100 degrees with full sun and high of 99 on Sunday. Remember to prehydrate before you go out, hydrate while you’re out, and rehydrate when once you’re done!
Looking at events happening all weekend long, starting at the Cox Business Center is Tokyo in Tulsa Oklahoma’s biggest gathering dedicated to anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture may be a great indoor event. About 60 miles south in Okemah, Oklahoma this weekend is the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival. Some of the featured artists John Fullbright, Jason Mraz, Willias Alan Ramsey, Carter Sampson, Annie Guthrie, and many others. Learn all about it at

This Saturday during the day is Dodgebrawl a one-day dodgeball tournament that allows teams to play for a charity or non-profit of their choice. It’s $35 to play, free to attend for spectators, and you can learn all about it at http://tulsadodgebrawl.com

On Sunday, evening, your own Tulsa Drillers take the baseball field at ONEOK Stadium against the Arkansas Travelers at ONEOK Field at 7:05pm
