Hello everyone and welcome to a special edition of 4th of July Plans in Tulsa from OakTree Staffing & Training. This will be a very short-and-sweet episode that will highlight some of the best Independence Day celebrations in the 918.
Starting in Downtown Tulsa, what is more American than baseball? Taking the field against the Midland RockHounds, your Tulsa Drillers will start up a 7-game run this 4th of July at ONEOK Stadium. While they normally have post-show fireworks, this fireworks show is rumored to be their biggest one yet. For full event details as well as the Tulsa Drillers’ full schedule for this week, head over to http://tulsadrillers.com/
Just a few miles South of that is the Folds of Honor Tulsa FreedomFest 2018. One of the largest Independence Day events in Town, the FreedomFest presents all kinds of fun at both the River West Festival Park as well as Veterans Park, then tying both event spaces together with a fireworks spectacular staged on the 21st Street Bridge over the Arkansas River set to a patriotic soundtrack. In addition to fireworks, enjoy live music at the event with The Red Dirt Rangers, The Nightly Dues, and Seven Feathers at the River West Festival Park and Corey Kent White at And Then There Were Two at Veterans Park. Get all of the event details at http://freedomfesttulsa.com/
Heading further down the River, enjoy Boom Fest 2018 at the Jenks Riverwalk presented by The Oklahoma Aquarium and Los Cabos. This event not only boasts of all sorts of patriotic activities during the day, but also claim to have the largest fireworks display in Tulsa at 9:45pm. I guess they can compete with the Drillers and River West Festival Park because it seems like everyone is claiming this.
