Starting in Tulsa with events happening all or most of the weekend, it’s a good weekend for geeks in Tulsa (present party included).

The Guthrie Green gets spooky this Friday the 13th with a showing of, you guessed it, Friday the 13th. The show starts at 8:30 pm.

For some athleticism for a good cause, runners can start their Saturday morning in Owasso for the Hance Henrie Memorial Run, a run part of the Tulsa Run Series. This run memorializes the late Owasso college student and runner Hance Henrie who was tragically killed by a drunk driver. This run benefits LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma. The run features a fun run, 5k, 10k, and 15k pumpkin challenge. The run begins at First United Methodist Church at 106th and Highway 169 with sign up at 7:30 am. More movement for another good cause is the Walk to Defeat ALS walk at the Guthrie Green. This walk benefits the ALS Association. Sign up starts at the Guthrie Green at 8 am with the walk starting at 9:30 am.

For some great music inspired by a late Tulsa music legend, enjoy Tom Skinner Skyline Music Festival this Sunday at The Mercury Lounge and the Shrine.
